Current Cardigan Canundrum!

Sarah and I are working the same cardigan pattern....because our knitting tension is so different, her waistband is twice as wide as mine!
This bamboo yarn is easy to work with and I think it will be the perfect weight for summer.

Afterthought Heel

Below are the three steps to do an afterthought heel when knitting a sock.  They are nice because when your heel wears out, you simply take out the stitches and knit in a new heel!  No more darning or thowing out your beautiful socks due to wear and tear!  This is going to be my "go to" heel from now on!

Getting set up to blog!

First, set yourself up to "follow" this blog and then go to your messages page and change the email address to your personal one so you can blog and do and see everything without switching back and forth from email addresses.  Much easier.

Next, do your profile and put up a pic for yourself.

To BLOG something, go up to the right top corner of the blog page and click "post".  That brings you to a place to post a new blog on the site.  You can preview (click button on the lower right) your post before it actually goes out there, so you can make sure you didn't goof up anything, especially if you are writting directions on how to knit something or do something.

Click on Publish Post and presto chango, there you are!!!  Hope this helps everyone get set up and started.  Once the initial work is done, it is very easy!  Yea for us knitter girls!!
